1924 (Taisho 13)November	Recommended by the editor of the magazine at the Faculty of Political Science and Economics
1925 (Taisho 14)May	『The Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics』 was first published (No. 1).
1932 (Showa 7)October	『The Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics』 No. 27, the first full-length English edition published as a commemorative issue for the 50th anniversary of Waseda University's founding
1944 (Showa 19)May	『The Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics』No.93 was published, and the magazine was suspended for publication for just under four years after that. Although there is no mention of the suspension in the editorial postscript at the end of the same issue, it was becoming difficult to publish the magazine as planned due to (1) a shortage of paper and (2) insufficient workforce at the printing office due to conscription.

1949 (Showa 24)September	『The Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics』 No. 100, “Various Issues of Post-War Reconstruction” was published
1957 (Showa 32)October	『The Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics』 Nos. 146 and 147 combined issue: Waseda University's 75th Anniversary Commemorative Collection of Essays, “Contemporary Issues in Political Science and Economics,” was published.
1958 (Showa 33)July	『The Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics』 No. 150, “Retrospect and Prospects for Political Science and Economics” was published.
1962 (Showa 37)October	『The Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics』, No. 177, Commemorative Issue for the 80th Anniversary of the Founding of Waseda University, “Japan's Modernization and Waseda University,” was published
1966 (Showa 41)August	『The Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics』 No. 200, Commemorative Issue “The World and Japan in the 20 Years Since the End of the War” was published. Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics, Complete List of Issues (Nos. 1-200) was published.
1982 (Showa 57)October	『The Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics』 Commemorative Issue for the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of Waseda University, “Contemporary Society in Flux and the Study of Politics and Economics,” was published.
1989 (Heisei 0)October	『The Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics』Commemorative Issue Volume for the 300th Issue, “Contemporary Issues in Political Science and Economics,” was published
1990 (Heisei 2)October	『The Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics』 The complete catalog (issues 201-300) was published.
2000 (Heisei 12)	To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the society, the “Essay Competition of the Waseda Society of Political Science and Economics” (1st edition) was held.
2004 (Heisei 16)February	『The Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics』No. 354 was published, from this issue 『The Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics』 has been moved to a peer-reviewed journal with submissions.
2016 (Heisei 28)March	『The Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics』Nos. 389-390 were published, from this issue, publication will be moving to an electronic version.
2024 (Reiwa 6)February	Extraordinary meeting of the Board of Trustees, approved for the incorporation of the Political Science and Economics Society, which was established as a separate organization in 2009.
March	Japan Association of Political Economy held a general meeting and was approved for incorporation into the Waseda Society of Political Science and Economics.
April	Extraordinary meeting of the Board of Trustees held; it was decided to cease publication with the 400th issue of the Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics.
2025 (Reiwa 7)	The catalogs of "Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics" (Nos. 1-200 and 201-300) were digitized and registered in 『The Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics』

Establishment - First issue	At a meeting of the Political Science and Economics Department faculty on November 5, 1924, the members of the journal committee were nominated, and the first issue of “The Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics” was published in May 1925. The following is an introduction to the founding officers of the Waseda Society of Political Science and Economics, as published in the magazine. President ：Masasada Shiozawa Secretary： Seigo Takahashi Editor-in-Chief ：Kinzo Gorai Magazine committee members ： Kinzo Gorai, Seigo Takahashi, Yasuki Futatsugi, Ikuo Oyama, Kenichi Abe, Kimio Hayashi The foreword to the first issue of “The Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics” was written by Kazutami Ukita, who was then a professor in the School of Political Science and Economics, and Sane Takata, the university president at the time, contributed an article entitled “Looking Back on the Past of Political Science and Economics as a University and the Mission of the School of Political Science and Economics.”
