About The Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics
| Establishment - First issue |
At a meeting of the Political Science and Economics Department faculty on November 5, 1924, the members of the journal committee were nominated, and the first issue of “The Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics” was published in May 1925. The following is an introduction to the founding officers of the Waseda Society of Political Science and Economics, as published in the magazine. President ：Masasada Shiozawa Secretary： Seigo Takahashi Editor-in-Chief ：Kinzo Gorai Magazine committee members ： Kinzo Gorai, Seigo Takahashi, Yasuki Futatsugi, Ikuo Oyama, Kenichi Abe, Kimio Hayashi The foreword to the first issue of “The Waseda Journal of Political Science and Economics” was written by Kazutami Ukita, who was then a professor in the School of Political Science and Economics, and Sane Takata, the university president at the time, contributed an article entitled “Looking Back on the Past of Political Science and Economics as a University and the Mission of the School of Political Science and Economics.”
